Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United Refractories Co. (URC) exports overseas and has qualified international licensees manufacturing URC refractory products in several countries worldwide.
Herrington & Company was contracted to help plan, write, design and develop a new online presence for URC. Base requirements included integrated search, ability for URC staff to manage / update content, and flexibility for growth. Drupal CMS was a perfect fit for each of these requirements.
End result, a refreshed design integrated into an open source CMS. Plans for additonal development phases are now in the works.
